albimazing top 5 - pretty things

So, Albimazing top 5 is back, and we’re about pretty things this week. Over the week, I stumbled on some pretty things I thought it would be nice to share. Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed sharing.

First on my list of pretty things is this bookshelf designed by  Eva Alessandrini & Roberto Saporiti. I think the one that say ‘Read Your Book Case is super cool, but the X and O design is bae. If I ever move into my own place, I’m definitely having this. BTW, I’m looking to read more books by Nigerian authors, ao I’m taking suggestions. I’d like to support our homegrown talent more, so help a sister out.

Do you do this thing where you go through the profile of every single person that likes your picture on instagram? You absolutely should because there are some gem accounts you might be missing out on. That’s exactly how I found Audacity Accessories. Usually, when I see a Nigerian person/brand say “handmade accessories” I immediately think beads. Not that it’s a bad thing, but I’m just not really into them. But there were actually some pretty things on this page and I was impressed. So much so that I’m planning to buy a couple.

I am absolutely in love with the new Maju pieces. Firstly because of the fun prints and then because of the flirty, playful ones. I mean, look at that teddy bear jumper/dress! I’m not much of a dressy kind of person, but I wouldn’t mind shopping a piece or two from them. I’m especially in love with this purse, and the dungarees. I’ve always admired Maju stuff from a distance, but I’m finally ready t go the distance. Are there any of their new pieces you like?

You already know I have to include at least one lipstick on this list. I’m currently lusting after the new Smashbox Be Legendary Lipsticks. They have 120 shades, guys! My heart overflows. Unfortunately, Smashbox doesn’t ship to Nigeria. I know there’s a store in Llagos here that’s supposed to be stocking them, but I don’t remember which. If you do, let me know so I can beg them to bring these ones for me.

So, I saw the Scqueeze lookbook on Omogemura and after I got over wondering why they decided to name their brand as such, I realised they actually had really good pieces. I love the softness of the pieces and how very feminine everything is. Yes, I am making a serious effort to be more into feminine clothing. Peep my favorite outfits from the collection. Can you guess which one I might actually buy first?

So, that’s my top five pretty things from the internet this week. See anything you found interesting on the internet in the past week? Feel free to share in the comments section. ^_^
